
At Crossville Acres Farm, Butchery & Meat Market, our mission is to glorify God in all that we do. Pete and Tara are proud Pennsylvania transplants who moved their family to Tennessee in 2018 and are grateful to now call Crossville home. Together with their six children—five amazing young men and one sweet little girl—they work side by side to raise and provide clean, wholesome food for their community.
Pete brings hands-on experience from his time working at Polyface Farm, where he learned the value of regenerative farming and responsible animal stewardship. Tara brings a background in marketing and a passion for connecting people with the story behind their food and the importance of knowing where it comes from.
At Crossville Acres, animals are raised naturally without GMOs, producing high-quality grass-fed meats and raw dairy you can trust. With an in-house butchery and carefully selected local products, the Burns family is passionate about offering food the way it was meant to be—honest, nourishing, and responsibly raised from farm to table. Above all, their love for the Lord guides their work, their family, and their commitment to serving their community well.
