Crossville Acres and Milk - We have a history.
The History goes beyond Tennessee, beyond Pete, in Tara’s family all the way back to 1890’s in Pennsylvania.
Tara’s Great Grandfather Albert Kern delivered fresh milk from their family dairy to the homes in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for many years. His youngest daughter Estella Kern grew up on the dairy farm - She would become Tara’s Grandma. Tara grew up with the stories of delivering the milk into the homes of families. Bringing the farm to their home and touching lives with the beauty of Raw Milk. The dairy farm became a traditional produce farm through many of the 1960-2000’s. Pete and Tara married in 2011, and got our first dairy cow in 2015. Now in Tennessee for the past 7 years, farming and dairy are still part of who we are. Bringing foods and milk to families to nourish their bodies all to the Glory. It is through Him and for Him that this has been flowing for over 100 years. Who knew a city girl, great-granddaughter of a dairy delivery man would marry a man with a passion for Farming? Bringing Farm fresh goodness to homes just like her Great Grandfather. God knew. He always does.
When you get milk and other dairy items from us, it’s more than just the stuff - it’s a heritage that we want to cultivate for our children. A legacy that Lord willing will continue well beyond us- all Glory to the King. Thank you for supporting our Family Farm and knowing that it’s from our Family to Yours.
